Who makes the offer
Cash For Junk Cars 500 doesn't buy vehicles. When you submit the form, we send your request to our buyer partner, the car-buying company we work with. Any offer, pickup and payment is between you and the partner, or the local buyer it works with, under their own terms. The form's consent line, above the submit button, links the partner's terms and privacy policy. Sending a request doesn't guarantee an offer or a sale, and you can turn down any offer.
Estimates
Calculator results and the prices in our guides are estimates, not offers. They're based on the information you enter and general scrap pricing.
Your responsibilities as the seller
- You must be the legal owner of the vehicle or have legal authority to sell it.
- The information you give about the vehicle must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You're responsible for removing personal belongings, plates where your state requires, and for canceling insurance and registration after the sale.
Pickup and payment
The buyer sets the pickup and payment terms. Our buyer partner says its offers include free towing and that its driver pays the agreed amount at pickup by check or cash. Ask the buyer to confirm both before you accept an offer.
Use of the site
Don't misuse the site, submit false requests or try to interfere with how it works. Content on the site, including guides and calculators, is general information and not legal or financial advice. State rules change, so confirm requirements with your state's motor vehicle agency.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
