Privacy policy
Last updated November 6, 2026.
This policy explains what information Cash For Junk Cars 500 (“we”) collects when you use cashforjunkcars500.com, how we use it and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Vehicle details you enter: year, make, model, submodel and the ZIP code where the car is parked.
- Contact details you enter: first and last name, phone number and email.
- Technical data: a one-way hash of your IP address (used to stop spam), browser type and the page you came from, including campaign tags such as utm_source.
- Analytics cookies, only when Google Tag Manager is switched on for Cash For Junk Cars 500. It loads tools such as Google Analytics that measure how pages are used. How Google uses that data.
How we use it
- To send your request to our buyer partner so it can make you an offer, and to keep a record of the request.
- To answer your questions about the request when you call us.
- To prevent fraud and spam and to improve the site.
Who we share it with
When you submit the form, we send your name, phone number, email, ZIP code and vehicle details to our buyer partner, the car-buying company we work with. We do this because you ask us to by submitting the form, and the buyer may pay us for these requests. The buyer uses the details to contact you, make an offer and arrange pickup and payment. It may pass them to the junkyards, salvage yards, auctions, towing companies and other car buyers it works with near you, and its own privacy policy applies to what it does with them. The form's consent line, above the submit button, links to that policy and the partner's terms. We also use service providers (hosting, phone and email tools) that process data on our behalf. We don't sell or share your information with anyone else for their own marketing, and we may disclose information when the law requires it.
Calls, texts and email
As the form says, submitting it means our buyer partner and the local buyers it works with may contact you about your request by phone, text or email. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask them to stop at any time, and reply STOP to any text to opt out.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for as long as we need them to answer questions, keep business and tax records and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold, or to stop sending your details to anyone. Residents of states with privacy laws, such as California, have these rights by law. To change what the buyer holds, contact the buyer directly. Call us at (855) 497-1176 or email [email protected] and we'll respond within the time the law requires.
Children
The site isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
